Meme’s surgery

Today Meme had a minor surgery, to make sure everything was ok.  And all is good!  Thank you LORD!!!



Finley and I picked her up, took her to the hospital and stayed with her.  After the surgery, mom requested Panera, and who am I to deny her of that?  ;)  We took her home and then we came home and had naps and then were off to church!!

Thank you God for answered prayers!

Counseling and another girl day!

Since everyone knows that I struggle with intense anxiety, panic attacks and some mild depression, I will just say that I have started on medication and counseling.  I am feeling MUCH better, Praise the Lord!!  The panic attacks are pretty much gone, I have more energy, don’t sleep as much and just overall feel much better.  The anxiety part is not completely gone, but I’ve just accepted the fact that I am going to have to live with that, and will try to help it by counseling.
With that being said, I LOVE going to counseling.  I stop and have some Panera, have some alone/ME time and get to get everything off of my chest and don’t have to burden my family over and over with the same worries and garbage!!  Maybe that makes me weird, but whatever.  I love it!



After counseling, the girls and I headed to CFA to have lunch with Lori, Nadia and her mommy Christy.  Brinlee was in school, and we sure missed her!!

Such a fun day!

Friend day!

This winter has put a total damper on all of Mia’s (and mine) friend time!  So today, we asked Brinlee and Nadia to come over and play!!

My house was filled with lots of girly giggling and I was convinced that I was meant to be a girl mom.  I loved it!

She wasn’t too thrilled, but mainly because she was being laid down and some strange man was holding her!!


We ran and picked sister up from school and then went to our fave lunch spot, CFA.  DUH!  We met some sweet friends there and Mia had a blast!

Typically every Wednesday before church, the girls and I go have dinner.  Usually McAlister’s!  It’s good and kids eat free!!

Although we miss daddy, we LOVE our special time together on Wednesdays!

A little (overdue) fresh air

Today we had a moderately nice and warmish day.  I know everyone is saying it, but, I AM SO OVER WINTER.  So today, we went on a nice long walk and got some fresh air!



Mia loved pushing her little sis and little sister was totally loving it!!

I am so craving some fresh warm air blowing through the windows in the house.  Zoo trips and park trips.  Long walks.  Outdoors.  Trampoline with my girls.

My Loves

We aren’t like crazy big on Valentines Day, but we do get the girls a little something and Dave and I both get each other a little something.  This year?  It was Reese's all around (except for Finley!).  We know each others favorite :)

We spent the day just hanging out together, and it was perfect for us!

Finley LOVES to watch Disney Channel on our phones.  She is only interested in the very beginning when they do all the singing.  She dances to each one!  So cute!






Daddy cooked us yummy lunch for V Day!  Alfredo Tilapia and seared Cajun shrimp!  Delicious!

We did some grocery shopping and then came home do hang out, do some cleaning, etc.  The norm.  I LOVE my work schedule (in which I barely work ;)), because I get to spend so much time with my girls!  I am SOO thankful for such a amazing husband who sacrifices so much so that I don’t have to work and can be home with our kids.  He is so selfless and I am so fortunate.
