The first few days at home we just kind of took it easy. We had visitors coming to see our little lady, church friends bringing us meals and my friend Natalie, who is also a lactation consultant, came over a few times to help me through the engorgement, cracked and sore nipple phase of nursing!
We did LOTS of snuggling…
Ran a few errands with mommy, and pretended to feed our babies ;)
Had lots of sisterly bonding…
Spent some time with Pops…
and continually looked cute :)
We also did some boppy tummy time and had our first bath! BOTH of which she LOVES! Doesn’t cry with either!!
We have done LOTS of nursing and also went to our first follow up doctors appointment on day 6 of life. At that appointment, Finley had already passed her birth weight and was 7-2!
What a lazy, yet busy, first week home!
