Monday, you ROCKED!

Today after we all got up, Dave went to get his Neulasta shot and I had a mini photo shoot (something special and classy, for Dave)!  After that we all went and had Qdoba for lunch!  We sat outside and just enjoyed each others company, in the middle of a Monday afternoon.  No rush to get home so that he could get to work, pick up Mia from school, etc.  It was so nice and relaxing.  It’s times like these, that I try to find the silver lining in our situation.  Because, when could we ever do this before?  We couldn’t.  Although, don’t get me wrong, I would prefer him to have to go to work than go through what we are, but I have to make myself see the good!




After lunch, we came home, all had a delightful nap and then Mia and I went outside to play while Daddy and Finley were still resting!  We got outside and Mia said “Mom, lets take a selfie!”  HAHA she is a mess!


Drama is her middle name.  And I have NO idea where she got it from ;) 
I wanted to get a picture of her playing, but she wouldn’t cooperate.  So I implemented some reverse psychology, and it worked like a charm!  HA

“Mia, DO NOT smile!  DON’T YOU DARE LAUGH!”…

Guess I’ll have to do that every time!!

She has also became a dag on pro at swinging herself!  And, she goes REALLY high!!

I think this is another reason I am getting so sad about moving.  We have made so many memories here and now Mia can truly enjoy her swingset.  I can’t wait to be able to look back on this day/year/season of life and only think good thoughts and see what we learned.  I can’t wait to see what the future holds and where God leads us, but there is definitely some fear of the unknown (especially with my personality!).  Dave thinks it’s “fun.” Most definitely NOT the term I would use for this trial. He likes the unknown and just flying by the seat of our pants.  If I could make out a day by day itinerary for the rest of my life, I’m pretty sure I would do it.  Spontaneity is NOT my middle name ;)  Thank God for him and how much we balance each other!

Once Daddy and Finley got up, we grabbed some whole fruit popsicles and Sammy and headed out for a walk!

Little lady devoured it!
